激光器输出频宽公式的修正

在参考文献1]中,作者曾针对激光器内光强分布的横向不均匀性,讨论了腔内相干光净损耗功率、贮能和激光频宽的计算方法.本文将把这种讨论推广到腔内光强的横向和纵向分布都不均匀的普遍情况,并修正了Townes、Maitland等人所引证的激光器输出频宽公式.最后,以圆柱形单模激光器为例,估算了由于光强分布的不均匀性所引起的频宽的相对修正值.

THE REVISION ABOUT THE LINEWIDTH FORMULA OF LASER

In the literature1], the calculating methods about the storage energy, the net power loss of coherent light in the cavity and the linewidth of laser light in accordance with such laser in which the distribution of light intensity was transverse nonuniform had been discussed. In this paper, the discussion is extended to the general laser in which the transverse and the longitudinal distribution of light intensity are all nonuniform, and the linewidth formula of laser light, which has been shown by Townes, Maitland, is revised. And the relative revised value resulted from the nonuniform distribution of light intensity is estimated with a cylindric laser of single mode.
