增益调制型波长转换器的噪声变换特性分析

摘    要:建立了基于半导体光放大器(SOA)交叉增益调制(XGM)波长转换器的噪声变换理论模型,并进行了数值计算.结果表明,入射的泵浦光功率及入射的探测光功率的大小对噪声变换有直接的影响.在适度的输入功率范围内,噪声得到有效的抑制,提高了转换输出信号的质量.

Abstract:A theoretical model describing the noise conversion characteristics of wavelength converters based on XGM in SOA is established in this paper. The numerical simulation results show that the input pump power and probe power have direct influences on the noise conversion. In an appropriate range of input power, the noise can be effectively suppressed and the quality of the converted signal is improved.
