Optimization of the extraction process of polysaccharide from Platycodon grandiflorum

To determine the optimum extraction conditions by comparing three methods of extracting polysaccharide from Platycodon grandiflorum, which can provide basis for the further development and utilization of Platycodon grandiflorum. Taking the extraction rate of polysaccharides as the index to compare the advantages and disadvantages of three methods, that is, hot water extraction, microwave extraction and ultrasonic extraction by orthogonal experiment and single factor lest. The extraction rates of ultrasonic extraction, microwave extraction and hot water extraction are respectively 34.16%, 31.30% and 25.57%. The ultrasonic extraction and microwave extraction are better than the traditional hot water extraction. The three methods, the ultrasonic extraction has the highest extraction rate, 34.16% and the microwave extraction takes the shortest time, 4 minutes.
