| Abstract: | The mutagenicities of 9 kinds of mineral water have been detected by using micronucleus test technique of Vicia faba root tip cells. The results show that the micronucleus frequencies in Vicia faba root tip cells of Shuiliandong and Autumn Mineral Water are significantly higher than that of control group while those of other 7 kinds have no significant difference in contrast with control group.It suggests that the 2 kinds of mineral water mentioned above have low mutagenicities and that the other 7 kinds have no mutagenicities. |
