| Abstract: | Production inventory control system is an important component of Computer Integrated Manufacturing Systems (CIMS). Average production time of flexible production line is the key to determine production inventory level. A method of determining average production time was proposed for the flexible assemble production line, which is based on the consolidation principle. The method is useful for factories to determine rational storage, to increase production efficiency and to decrease cost. |
