镍-氢电池充放电过程中的化学物理现象及机制

摘    要:用X射线衍射等方法分析了MH/Ni电池电极过程中电极活性材料β-Ni(OH)2和AB5合金的精细结构和微结构的变化,并把其与电池性能联系起来,从而揭示了充放电过程的物理现象和物理机制.分析发现:MH/Ni电池的物理导电机制是氢离子在正负极间的定向迁移和运动,氢离子是由氢原子离开和β-Ni(OH)2来提供,而不是由β-Ni(OH)2→β-NiOOH的相变来提供.

Abstract:The fine structure and microstructure changes of electrode active materials   β-Ni(OH)2 and AB5 alloy during charge-discharge processes are studied in detail by  X-ray diffraction (XRD).Chemical physical of electrode active materials and physical conductive mechanism are elucidated.To be brief,the physical conductive mechanism of MH/Ni battery is the directional migrating and moving of hydrogen ions between the positive and negative electrodes because hydrogen atoms are deviating from the β-Ni(OH)2 lattice and inserting into AB5.
