| 摘 要： | 在简述湘西自然和民族医药文化的基础上，对湘西药用植物资源及其开发利用研究现状做了概括，并就民族植物学在湘西药用植物资源开发利用研究中的重要作用做了阐述，认为民族植物学研究能为湘西药用植物资源开发提供理论指导，并能促使湘西民族医药走向世界.

| Abstract: | Based on the simple relation of the culture on both western Hunan nature and ethnic medicine,the current situation on the development and use of the medicinal plant resources in western Hunan was generalized and the important role of ethnobotany in the development and use of the plant resources in western Hunan was elaborated.It was considered that the study on ethnobotany could provided directions in theory for the development of medicinal plant resources in west Hunan and could boost west Hunan ethnic medicine famous in the world. |
