On the Compilation of the History of Buyi Literature

This paper analyzes the origin of the book, the principle of compiling style, the period of literary history, the classification of works and the editors’ view on the literary history of the History of Buyi Literature.This book is a combination of the two previous literary history of the same name. It combs the history of Buyi literature from the ancient times to the recent time.From oral literature to written literature of modern writers, the editors have presented a detailed elaboration and literary criticism of the book.
