论译者主体性与翻译的语境重构

翻译是一种处于社会惯例和文化习俗之复杂网络中心的、原创性的、主体性的活动。指出在后现代语境下,译者主体性是原语文化与译语文化之间动态平衡的存在,进而认为在翻译过程中,语境重构就是译者对语际转换后的文本进行词汇、句法以及语篇层面发挥主体性的创造性重构,以便使读者最大限度地理解并欣赏译文。

On Subjectivity of the Translator and Recontextualization in the Process of Translation

Translation is an original subjective activity at the centre of a complex network of social and cultural practices,while subjectivity of the translator is a dynamic equilibrium existing between the original and the translated cultures in the modern context.The author points out the process of recontextualization involves the organization of the lexical,syntactical and discourse features of the transferred text so as to provide maximal comprehension and appreciation on the part of the intended audience.
