| 摘 要： | 传统的委婉语研究将委婉语看作语言形式上的修辞,研究视域局限于修辞学、文学和文体学,难以揭示委婉语的实质。认知语言学的迅速发展,为研究委婉语提供了新的视角。从隐喻与转喻认知模式以及认知语境等方面阐释委婉语的生成机制,可以促进人们对委婉语的进一步认知和应用。

| Abstract: | Euphemism was traditionally regarded as a linguistic ornament.And the studies on it were restricted to the field of rhetoric,literature and stylistics,which failed to reveal the essence of euphemism.However,cognitive linguistics,since its rapid development in the 1980s,provides a new perspective to analyze euphemism.In the light of metaphorical and metonymic models as well as cognitive context,this paper elucidates euphemism's generative mechanism and accurate comprehension in order to further our interpretation and application of euphemism. |
