Roles of Social Capital in Enterprise Supply Strategy

Trust, norms and networks are the core contents of social capital. From the connotation of social capital, the paper probes into the following positive roles social capital acts in enterprise supply strategy: favor the reduction of transaction cost, the acquisition of information and the knowledge transfer and sharing among supply and chain members. The negative roles social capital plays in enterprise supply strategy are also analyzed.
