摘    要:车徽是汽车品牌的标志,是汽车分类与识别的重要依据.车徽定位是车徽识别的关键环节.笔者提出了一种新的车徽定位方法.首先,根据车徽和车牌的位置关系进行车徽的粗定位,其次,进行车徽背景的纹理识别,然后,通过边缘检测进行车徽的背景抑制,对水平纹理进行垂直边缘检测,对垂直纹理进行水平边缘检测,最后应用数学形态学进行滤波,精确定位用车徽.实验结果表明,此方法具有很好的车徽定位效果.

Abstract:Vehicle-logo is the symbol of the automobile brand, and is an important basis tor vemcle classmcation and identification. Vehicle-logo Localization is the key of Recognition of Vehicle-logo. This paper puts forward a novel approach of vehicle-logo location. Firstly, according to the localization relation between the vehicle-logo and the license plate we find out the rough location of Vehicle-logo. Secondly, we carry on recognition of the texture of vehicle-logo background. Then, we suppress the vehicle-logo background by edge detection and carry out the vertical edge detection on level texture and the level edge detection on horizontal texture. Finally, we locate the vehicle-logo precisely through filtering by mathematical morphology. The results show that this method is effective in vehicle-logo location.
