| Abstract: | In this paper, the major contents and theoretical bases of the aviation safety management system（SMS）, a new aviation safety managing mode proposed by the International Civil Aviation Organization （ICAO）, are interpreted from the visual angle of an airline company, and the directive significance of the SMS＇s key risk management theory to China＇s aviation safety management is expounded. |
