数字媒体产业属于在国民经济、社会发展和国防安全中重点发展、亟待科技提供支撑的重点产业。2006年《国家中长期科学和技术发展规划纲要(2006—2020年)》(以下简称《纲要》)把数字媒体技术作为信息技术领域三大前沿技术之一,把数字媒体内容平台定为信息领域优先发展主题之一。本文对《纲要》实施以来在数字媒体方向的进展与成效、面临的挑战以及许多领域专家提出的政策建议进行了综合报道。
