流动儿童城市人角色认同对学校适应的影响——自尊的中介作用

摘    要:采用问卷对重庆市578名中小学生进行调查,考察流动儿童与城市儿童的城市人角色认同、自尊和学校适应之间的关系,探讨自尊在其中的中介作用.结果发现:①流动儿童与城市儿童的学校适应不存在显著差异;流动儿童城市人角色认同水平和自尊水平均显著低于城市儿童.②城市人角色认同与自尊呈正相关,而城市人角色认同、自尊均与学校适应呈负相关.③自尊在城市人角色认同对学校适应的预测中起部分中介作用.分别计算时发现,自尊对流动儿童起部分中介作用,对城市儿童起完全中介作用,且二者之间的中介作用差异显著.

Abstract:Migrant children’s mental health depends largely on school adjustment.578 students(369 migrant children,209 urban children) from 5 primary and middle schools in Chongqing were selected for the research,and all of them completed the Migrant Children’s Identification as City People Questionnaire,the Self-Esteem Scale,and the School Adjustment Scale.The results are as follows:(1) Independent t-test results show that there was no significant difference between migrant children’s school adjustment and that of urban children;the migrant children’s identification as urban people is significantly lower than that of the urban children,and the migrant children’s self-esteem is also significantly lower than that of the urban children.(2) All dimensionalities of identification as urban people are positively correlated with self-esteem scores,but negatively correlated with school adjustment.(3) Self-esteem acts as a partially mediator in the test of identification as urban people and school adjustment;Further multiple comparisons using structural equation modeling indicate that there is a significant difference between migrant children and urban children in mediating effect of self-esteem.Self-esteem is also a partially mediator for migrant children,while it is a complete mediator for migrant children.
