| Abstract: | At present the 170 species of the Hydromedusae from the China Sea Area have been recorded. The Hydromedusae of the Dalian Coast is on record for the first time. Eleven species of the Hydromedusae were collected from Dalian Coast during the June to July 1987. There have been found 3 species belonging to Anthomedusae, 7 species to Leptomedusae, 1 species to Limnomedusae. Nine species are first recorded from Dalian Coast.
