A SURVEY OF THE VEGETATION OF XICHUAN COUNTY,HENAN PROVINCE

Xichuan County is in the southwestern part of Henan province,in latitute 32°41′～33°22°north,longitude110°～112°11′east.The annual mean temperature is 15.8 c,annual mean precipitation is 793.3mm.,the frost+less season is over 220 days.The topography of the county is including mountains,hills, plains.The height of the mountain in the area named Feng Zi Shan is an eleva tion of 1006m,which is the highest mountain.The river system of the county is including Danjiang River,Qi River,Guan River,Tao River andD iao Ri- ver,etc. The vegetation of the regin consists of six types and nineteens formation.
