摘    要:该文根据分形几何描绘自然景物的基本思想,分析了迭代函数系统(IFS)构造分形的特点,即通过一组收缩仿射变换生成分形图象;并给出了生成二维和三维分形图象的IFS矩阵。该文还简述了应用迭代函数系统生成三维蕨类植物叶子的分形图象的算法过程,对实现这一算法的C语言程序作了简要说明。文末提供了根据拼合定理确定IFS系数的方法,简介了迭代函数系统在图象压缩技术中的应用

Iterated Function System and Its Application
Abstract:In conformity with the thought that fractal geometry describes natural scenery, the characteristics of iterated function system (IFS) are analyzed in this paper a fractal image can be produced by applying a group of constractive affine map; and the matrices of IFS forming 2D and 3D fractal images are given. An algorithm process that produces the fractal image of 3D fern leaves by applying IFS, is stated in brief; and the C program to realize the algorithm process is concisely explained. A method to find the coefficients of IFS is presented in the end according to collage theorem, and the application of IFS to the image compression technique is also briefly introduced.
