Abstract:In order to investigate the effects of nicotine and carbon monoxide on learning and development of rats' brain. Y-maze device are adopted to study the rote learning and electro microscope technology is utilized for observing supermicro-structure of brain. The results show that nicotine decreases the learning and memory function(p<0. 05).reduces corticocerebral thickness (p<0. 05)and the density of synapses(p<0. 01),changes the percentage of synapse Gray Ⅰ and Gray Ⅱ and the precentage of synapse Gray Ⅰ is increased(p<0. 05); while the percentage of synapse Gray Ⅱ is reduced,carbon monoxide has slight influence on them. These datas suggest that nicotine the smoke of cigarette,may have harmful effect on rote learning and developament of rat's brain.
