戏剧是一种特殊的文学形式,同时具有文学性和舞台性。戏剧翻译的对象是身处在一个有限时空内的观众,因此,其语言要求做到简洁、准确、前后关联并且口语化。从语言生成的角度来看,戏剧语言的产生要遵循哲学家保罗.格赖斯所提出的＂合作原则＂,符合这一原则中对语言在量、质、关系和方式四个方面的要求。

Study on Principles of Drama Translation from the Perspective of Language Generation

Drama is a special kind of literature,possessing the features of literariness and theatrics.Drama translation serves the audiences who are in the limited time and space,therefore,the language is required to be concise,accurate,interrelated and colloquial.From the perspective of language generation,the drama language should follow the Cooperative Principle proposed by the philosopher,H.Paul Grice,and conform to the four maxims: Quantity Maxim,Quality Maxim,Relevant Maxim and Manner Maxim.
