摘    要:不同的颜料有着不同的吸收 UV(紫外光 )特性 ,从而影响到含有颜料涂层的固化性能 ,直接后果就是降低固化速率。研究表明 :针对不同的颜料 ,筛选不同的改性剂 ,改变颜料对UV的吸收特性 ,是可行的 ,可以提高含颜料的 UV固化材料的固化速率。不同的颜料对改性剂的种类和用量要求有所不同 ,颜料的改性效果取决于各种影响因素的共同作用结果

Abstract:Curing of pigmented systems has been one of the challenges in the field of ultra violet (UV) curing. The main difficulty in curing pigmented coatings lies the competitive absorption of light by the pigment. Most organic pigments absorb light up to about 350nm, thereby leaving less available UV light energy to the photoinitiator (PI). As a result, generation of the initiating radicals is considerably hindered, which results in a poor cure of the formulation. In order to improve curing efficiency the modification of organic pigments was carried out in this study. The performance of modified pigments was evaluated for UV curable coatings. It turned out in the study that the surface treatment of pigments could play an important role in achieving high curing rate for pigmented systems. For example, the curing rate of phathalocyanine green pigmented UV curable coating (9.4s) can be improved greatly (2.8s) if pigment is treated with citric acid.
