摘    要:活动轮廓模型(Snake模型)被广泛应用于医学图像分割之中,传统的Snake模型在分割图像时要求初始轮廓线必须给定在图像边缘附近,且难以收敛到凹陷轮廓。本文针对Snake模型的这点不足,通过改进外部能量项,提出了一种基于梯度矢量流活动轮廓模型的医学图像分割算法。该算法用梯度矢量流代替图像梯度进行外部能量的计算,克服了传统Snake模型力场范围小以及不能收敛于凹形边缘的缺点。实验结果表明:改进模型能够有效的分割心脏MRI图像,是一种有效的方法。

Abstract:Active contour model is widely used in medical image segmentation.The snake algorithms known before can not deal with the concave regions and the initial contour must be set near the edge of the image.This paper presents a method for medical image segmentation by improving the external energy.In the calculation of the external energy,it uses gradient vector flow instead of gradient,which not only expands the effective range of the energy field,but also enhances the ability to deal with the concave edge.Expe...
