摘    要:研究香根草在形态和生理上对淹水的反应,实验结果表明,香根草完全淹水5个月仍能存活,在部分淹水条件下,香根草分蘖和株高的变化状况与对照组(陆生条件)没有明显差异,而净光合速率比对照组强,香根草是一种两栖植物,可在河岸、库岸等水位波动地区种植。

Abstract:Several morphological and physiological responses of Vetiveria zizanioides to flooding were studied. Vetiveria zizanioides can survive after 5 months of complete submersion. No significant difference in tillering and growth height was observed between plants growing in drowned condition and control condition (no flooding), but net photosynthetic rate of plant in drowned condition was higher than that of plant in control condition. Vetiveria zizanioides is an amphibious plant, and it could be planted along river and reservoir banks where water levels fluctuate.
