摘    要:本文根据1981年和1982年两次调查资料,对北江底栖动物群落特征与水质状况的关系作了指示类群、Shannon多样性指数、Trent生物指数和Chandler记分制的分析,并据此对水质污染状况进行生物学评价.

Abstract:Studies on benthic macroinvertebrates from the Beijiang River were carried out between 1981-1982. It has been found that the community of benthic macroinvertebrates was mainly composed of molluscs , aquatic oligochaetes and aquatic insects.Among them Corbicula fluminea (Moll-usca)and chironomids (Insecta) were especially abundant. The data coll-ected from 7 sampling stations set up in the river have been used for calculating Trent biotic index, Chandler's score and Shannon-Wiener diversity index. BaSed on a biological assessment of water quality, the Beijiang River is considered as being lightly polluted on the whole.
