开元盛世音乐教育状况述略

唐开元年间的音乐教育创造了我国古代音乐教育史上的一次高峰,这一高峰的出现有赖于统治者的音乐政策与具体措施。但当时的音乐教育仅仅为统治阶级娱乐消遣而设,在地位上还远远不能与经学教育相提并论。加上它单一的课程培养模式,致使受教育者的文化素质不能提高,从根本上来说,这一时期培养的音乐人才,主要作用仍然是为统治阶级的娱乐消遣服务。
