关联理论与以学生为中心的外语教学

摘    要:关联理论是从认知的角度提出的一种交际理论,指出语言交际是一个认知过程。在课堂交际过程中,如何体现以学习者为中心的课堂设置,尤其是作为交际双方的教师和学生如何在课堂教学的互动关系中获得成功,教师的话语如何能使学生在文化背景、情感、及认知过程方面获得一种最大的关联性是一个值得探讨的问题,应从关联理论的视角来分析以学习者为中心的外语教学。

Abstract:D. Sperber and D. Wilson propose Relevance Theory (R. T) and it points out linguistic communication is a process of cognition. This paper attempts to make an analysis of the learner - centered foreign language teaching on the basis of RT. The author makes the tentative survey on how to achieve the successful classroom interaction between the teachers and the learners in the learner-centered curriculum and how the teachers' discourses make the learners obtain the optimal relevance via cultural backgrounds and emotional characteristics and cognitive process while learning.
