| 摘 要： | Sperber和Wilson指出语言交际是一个认知过程。在跨文化交际中，由于人们来自不同的国家，必然受到各自文化背景的制约。那么。也就增加了人们在语言交际中认知的复杂性。运用Sperber和Wilson提出的关联理论对跨文化交际中中西餐桌话语进行推断，发现该理论在解释和推断社交语言中的独道之处。

| Abstract: | Sperber and Wilson put forward a theory that communication is a process of cognition. In cross-cultural communication, it is more difficult for people from different countries to understand each other because cultural backgrounds have a great impact on communication . In this paper, the interpretation of utterances during the meals in cross-cultural communication is based on the relevance theory offered by Sperber and Wilson. |
