西方媒介效果研究的历史考察

摘    要:20世纪,传播学在美国诞生,传播效果的研究成为传播学的一个重要领域。而我国自20世纪80年代引进传播学以来,对传播效果的研究以引进和介绍西方效果理论为主,而对该体系的根源和发展缺乏宏观和深入的梳理和思考。从19世纪美国社会大移民开始,到20世纪70年代为止,把不同阶段的媒介效果理论放到具体的社会语境中,阐释每个典型的历史阶段的政治、经济、科技和文化思潮对媒介效果理论研究的影响,是有意义的。

Abstract:Since the mass communication was born as a new discipline in America in 20 century, the media effects has becom an important study field. After a century' s development, the study of media effects has become the most big and complicated branch in the mass communication. However, this new subject in our country is mainly based on the introduction to the western theories. Therefore, the lack of the deep understanding and discussion to the ry is obvious. Beginning from the great migration in America in 19 century to the modern society in 1970' s , this dissertation puts the media effects theory of different times into the matched social context. The author deeply explains how politics, economics , technology and culture influent the media effects theory in every typical historyage.
