| Abstract: | Osteoarthritis, frequently occurring in knee joint and in senile people, is a kind of chronic progressive joint disease, whose characteristics are degeneration and deficit of cartilage and sub- chondral osteosis or on the periphery of joint. With the increase of population life expectancy, more and more people are attacked with osteoarthritis. The author summarizes the advancement in operative and nonoperative treatment for osteoarthritis at home and abroad. |
