| 摘 要： | 本文从文化哲学的角度观照东西方美术，希求从中发现美术的内在规定性，通过对东西方艺术创作方法和艺术的本质精神的比较，找到东西方美术精神的相同之处——“气韵生动”。中国哲学中的“气”与“道”和西方哲学里的“理念”与“生命冲动”都是对艺术本质的不同的描述。“气韵生动”成为连接“气”与“道”、“理念”与“生命冲动”的艺术本质。艺术家正是发现和表现人类及世界万物之中的“气韵”这种艺术本质来达到和完成其使命的。艺术从而成就了人与世界，人与社会，人与人，人与自身的自由沟通和表达。
