字母词语的范围及其规范使用

字母词语的出现是现代汉语吸收外来词的一条途径。但是，不客否认的是，目前在我国社会语文生活中，尤其是在报刊等大众媒体上夹杂使用外文字母缩略语甚至直接使用原装外文词语的风气愈演愈烈．已经给语言交际、语用心理、信息传递、文化传统和民族尊严带来了一些负面影响，引起了人们的密切关注。联系字母词语的使用现状，提出对字母词语的使用应当依照现代汉语词汇的习惯用法，把握坚持必要性、注意适当性、遵循规范性等3条原则，以遏制汉语中夹用字母词语的蔓延现象，维护祖国语言的纯洁和健康发展。

Letter-Words: Their Definition and Standard Use

Letter-words is a kind of loan words absorbed by contemporary Chinese. But the excess use of mixing foreign acronyms and even the originals in Chinese, especially in the mass media, has aroused concerns when its negative impact begins to show in linguistic communication, pragmatic psychology, information transfer, cultural tradition and national honor. This paper explores the current use of letter-words in Chinese and proposes three principles of necessity, appropriateness and standard in their application, emphasizing the need for letter-words to follow the usage of modern Chinese vocabulary so as to control the sprawl of letter-words in Chinese and to promote the healthy growth of our mother tongue.
