Modernity and ecological spirit in the Context of Globaliztion: A Concurrent discussion on Edward Abbey and eco-literature

Modernity is a phenomenon from the west and spreads out all over the world.Under the globalize background,it brings about the unprecedented development of the whole human society,but also reduced the survival of humanity to a grave ecological crisis.This thesis will try to analyze the relationship between the modernity and ecological crisis,then talk about Edward Abbey and eco-literature,in order to seek the ecological spirit we should uphold in the context of globalization.
