摘    要:文化教学是大学英语教学的重要内容和重要手段。目前大学英语的文化教学普遍存在着文化失衡与中国文化内容缺失的问题,表现为:过多地强调目的语文化的学习,忽视母语文化。通过探讨当前大学英语的文化教学中存在的问题,并结合跨文化交际理论中的“第三位置”的文化观,提出解决该问题的思路和途径。

Abstract:Cuhure teaching is the major content as well as a primary means in College English teaching. However, cultural imbalance and the default of Chinese culture can be seen in the current culture teaching of College English : dominance is given to the target culture, i.e. the Anglo-American cultures while the native culture, Chinese culture is often placed in an insignificant position. By exploring the existing problems in the current culture teaching, a solution to the problems is proposed in accordance with the theory of the "third place" of cross-culture communication.
