摘    要:信息墙是一种由包含各类信息的矩形单元格平铺而成的图形化交互界面.目前信息墙的设计和实现大多采用人工方式,效率低且最终产品的风格缺少变化.本文基于遗传编程算法实现了一个文本信息墙自动生成工具.本文还提出一个文本信息墙视觉美感评价模型,并将其与算法整合以美化所生成的文本信息墙的外观.实验表明,该工具能够高效地自动生成风格各异且较美观的文本信息墙.通过该工具,设计人员可直接基于自动生成的文本信息墙进行加工创作,提高了生产力.

Abstract:Information Wall (IW) is a GUI composed of rectangular cells each contains various kinds of information. The design and implementation of IW are mainly in a manual way nowadays, which typically leads to less variability in appearance style and low efficiency. This paper develops a tool to automate the generation of text-IWs based on a genetic programming algorithm. A model, which evaluates the visual quality of text-IWs, is also proposed and incorporated in the algorithm to make generated IWs more visually pleasing. Test results show that the tool is able to efficiently produce good looking IWs with variable appearance styles. With the help of the tool, designer productivity could be improved by utilizing machine-generated prototypes.
