| Abstract: | Acupuncture manipulation for promoting vital energy circulation and electro-acupuncture wereapplied Separately at points of Waiguan,Fengchi,Shuaigu,Xuanlu of 100 cases of headache inShaoyang meridian.Among them,28 cured,36 markedly improved,28 improved and 8 withoutimprovement.The effective rate was 92 %. clinical observation showed that its therapeutic effectwas influenced by course or cause of disease.The earlier is the treatment given,the better wouldbe the clinical effect.The therapeutic efrect was better for the angioneurotic headache thanheadache caused by sense organs diseases.Compaired the group treated by acupuncturemanipulation for promote vital enerpy circulation with that by electro-acupuncture there wasa marked difference in the effective rate and course of disease statiscally(P<0.01).A marked dif-ference indicatedthat the therapeutic effect of the acupuncture manipulation for promote vitalenergy circulation was much better than electro-acupuncture. The former provides a good wayfor preventing and treating the headache in Shaoyang meridian. |
