双文化修养:中学英语教师必备之素养

摘    要:学习外语的最终目的是跨文化交际,因此。培养学生“跨文化交际能力”是中学英语教学的首要任务。鉴于此,中学英语教师除了熟练掌握双语外,还应具备双文化修养。首先,中学英语教学中,双语文化输入不可或缺,因为语言本身就是一种特殊的文化现象。同时也是最重要的文化载体。另外,跨文化交际中,语用行为的理解常涉及文化与文化心理分析与解读。最后,文章还从历史和现实两方面分析了中学英语教师提高自身双文化修养的必要性。

Abstract:Learning a foreign language is usually motivated by cross-cultural communication, thus, the main job for middle-school English teachers is to help students get the cultural ability. Accordingly, besides bilingualism, teachers should acquire biculturalism. First, culture can't be absent from English teaching for a language itself is a special culture as well as the bearer of its culture. Moreover, to interpret properly others" pragmatic acts in communicating, one has to decode the cultural information and analyze others" cultural mentality. Finally, middle-school English teachers should learn the variations of a culture, for culture always evolves.
