新闻语篇宏观结构理论在教学中的应用研究

摘    要:学生在阅读英语新闻语篇的过程中,因英语新闻语篇丰富的题材,独特的语言特色,多样的文化形式等特征导致对词汇、句式、文化等局部信息的过度处理,从而忽视了宏观层次上的信息链。vanDijk的新闻语篇宏观结构理论认为语篇的“宏观结构”包括了语篇的宏观语义结构和宏观图示结构。试图运用新闻语篇宏观结构理论来分析教学实践中的一篇报刊范文,指出新闻语篇的宏观结构理论有助于学生阅读时获取更多新闻语篇的宏观信息,从而有效提高英美报刊阅读能力。

The Enlightenment and Application of Macrostructure Theory in Teaching English Newspaper Reading

Abstract:When students read news discourse from foreign newspapers and magazines, they isolate their attention on the vocabulary, sentences and culture knowledge with the rich source of the subject matter, linguistic features and the variability of the culture of the news discourse in the teaching of the English Newspaper Reading Course, and thus fail to consider the whole idea of the article in their reading. Van Dijk's Macrostructure Theory in new dis- course analysis argues that the discourse consists of the semantic macrostructure and news schemata. By applying the Macrostructure Theory in the news discourse analysis of an article from the English Newspaper Reading Course, it is presented that this will help students acquire more information in their reading, thus actively promote the teaching efficiency.
