| 摘 要： | 虚拟现实是新发展起来的一门仿真技术,已成功应用于工程设计、军事与航空航天和娱乐等领域,并正在逐步影响到人们的日常生活。本文较全面、系统地阐述了虚拟现实发展历史、技术基础和应用研究情况,并根据目前技术现状,对虚拟现实技术未来的完善和发展提出了自己的看法。

| Abstract: | Virtual Reality (VR) is a novel technology in simulation field. Although in its infant development phase, VR has been successfully applied to many fields with considerable achievements. It is believed that VR has potential impact on our everyday lives. In this paper, the current status of VR technology is firstly described in a systematic manner. Then, the VR current and potential applications are discussed. Finally, the future challenges in VR developments and the related recommendations are proposed. |
