美国科罗拉多河水沙变化分析

摘    要:分析了开发较早的美国科罗拉多河的水沙变化趋势,依据资料为1926-1984年干支流3个代表测站的年水沙量资料,主要讨论了水利工程建设对水沙变化的作用.结果显示水库修建给科罗拉多河的水沙变化带来了十分显著的影响,水库修建往往导致下游测站沙量的急剧减小,并通过干支流一系列水库的共同作用,可以造成河流来沙量趋势性减少的效果.

Abstract:The variation of water runoff and sediment load of Colorado River was analyzed in this paper. The data used in the analysis were taken from 3 stations on the river from 1926 to 1984. The analysis focused on the effect of engineering measures on the changes in water runoff and sediment load. Results show that dam constructions have greatly affected the trend of water runoff and sediment load of Colorado. The operation of a reservoir usually causes a sudden reduction in sediment load downstream of the project. The effect of a series of dams may result in a long-term tendency of reduction in sediment load.
