影响英语语音感知与产出的年龄因素

在二语语音研究领域，年龄方面的研究备受关注也充满争议。国外有许多实验研究，其研究对象一般为目的语国家移民，对母语环境外语学习者的研究不多。国内研究多为思辨性的分析和讨论，缺乏有说服力的实验数据。文章在国内外研究成就的基础上，选取了学习背景相似、学习时间相当的80名中学生进行了语音听辨和朗读测试实验，旨在考察英语学习起始年龄对无自然语境、主要通过课堂学习英语的中国学生的语音感知和产出的影响。实验结果表明年龄对语音产出有影响，对感知无显著影响。语音感知与产出并不同步。

The Effect of Age on the English Speech Perception and Production

In the field of L2 phonological research, the effect of age on pronunciation has aroused the interests of numerous researchers and a great deal of controversy has been generated. Most of the experimental researches of L2 phonology abroad focused on the subjects of L2 learning of immigrants in L2-speaking countries. Few researches have been done on L2 learning learning in the environment of mother-tongue. Based on the studies both home and abroad, this study examines the effect of onset age of English learning on English speech perception and production. 80 middle school students with similar learning experience, who learn English mainly through formal instruction, participated in the experiment. The result shows that onset age has a significant effect on English speech production but with no significant effect on speech perception. Speech perception and production are not synchronically developed.
