文章对温泉蛇的活动规律和栖息地选择进行了描述。把当雄县羊八井镇的羊间温泉作为野外观测点,对温泉蛇的活动规律和栖息地选择进行研究。文章认为温泉蛇在石堆的出现概率最高,它的活动高峰期是下午15∶00,活动频率与空气温度、地表温度的关系最为密切。

The Movements Patterns and Habitat Selection of the Tibetan Hot Spring Snake

This paper has described about movement patterns and habitat selection of the Tibetan hot spring snake in Yangjian hot spring.We have selected Yangjian hot spring in Damchong County for our study site.It is found out that the Tibetan hot spring snake mostly uses the rock plots as the habitat during the daytime. Its most active time is always around at 15:00 everyday and its movement is very much connected with the temperature of air and surface temperature of the habitat.No such study has been done previously and this research collected some data on its movement patterns and habitat selection so as to provide some basic information for further research.
