| 摘 要： | 人神关系的探讨不仅是基督教的文化概念，也是西方文学中表现的重要主题之一。上帝对于人的关系绝非静止不动，而是处于不断的运动和变化之中。结合《红字》中A字象征含义的变化，揭示人神关系从对立走向和谐以及这种变化对于理解作品主题的意义。

| Abstract: | The paper makes a study on the relationship between God and human, on e of the major themes of Christianity and Western literature, where God has been a changing image rather than a stable one. Referring to the different symbolic meaning of letter A in The Scarlet Letter, the author gets an idea that the gene ral tendency of the conflicts of humanity and deity is to reconciliation, which is significant to the understanding of the work. |
