试述"把关人"在网络传播中的地位

传统的"把关人"理论中,"把关人"受制于各种社会因素和权利的制约,控制新闻信息的生产与传播,拥有信息准入的特权.而网络的特点是信息传播的相对自由和个人自主,其无制约性导致网络信息传播的混乱和无序.在以个人传播者为主的网络时代,"把关人"这个角色的把关功能正被日益削弱,而"把关人"理论也因为传播主体的位移而失去了立足的依据.

The Role of "Pass-holder"in the Cyber-media

Traditionally,the"Pass-holder", who controls the news production and transmission and also has the final power to permit or reject its use,is strongly influenced by the social and political factors.However,cyber-media permits the free transmission usually without restrictions which often results in information chaos.In an era when individual transmitters dominate the cyber-media,the role of "pass-holder"has been gradually weakened and the concept is on the way to disappearing.
