摘    要:多脉冲位置调制是室内可见光通信的主要调制方式之一。它的功率利用率高,频带利用率好,抗干扰性强。为了实现室内可见光通信,首先,分析了MPPM编码的基本原理和映射方式;在此基础上,利用CPLD器件完成了MPPM编码调制、解调系统设计,这种调制的信号是由同步信号和MPPM信号组成,解调则采用CPLD数字锁相环实现位同步提取;最后,完成了调制、解调系统的实验及仿真,实验结果理想。

Abstract:Multiple pulse position modulation (MPPM) is one of the most popular modulations for indoor visible light communi- cation using LED, which has the advantages of high power efficiency, low bandwidth and strong resistance to interference. In order to implement the indoor visible light communication using LED by MPPM, first, the principle of the MPPM and the mapping methods have been analyzed. On this basis, the MPPM modulation and demodulation have been completed by using the CPLD (complex programmable logic device)device, which code word is composed of the synchronous signal and the MPPM signal, and the demodulator uses a digital phase locked loop to extract the bit synchronous signal with CPLD. Finally, we com- plete the MPPM modulation and the demodulation experiments, which show that the MPPM decoding meets the communication requirements, and the results are reliable.
