| Abstract: | An investigation about fishes of the inland river of Hexi Corridorwas carried out from 1973-1990, with a collection of 31 species about1000 specimen. They were found to belong to 5 orders and 7 families and22 genera. The fauna mainly consists of Gymnocypris and Triplophysa.The fauna composition has greatly changed with the evolufion of ecologicalenvironment and the increase of the introduced fish. The number ofintroduced fish population is increasing but the number of aboriginal fishpopulation has gradually decreased. |
