| Abstract: | In this paper a new species of the genus Linopteris Presl, Linopterismaxima, sp. nov., is described for several specimens have been collectedfrom the Namurian B--C Hongtuwa Formation in the village Jingerchuan,Jingyuan County, Gansu. The new species is characterized by its largepinnules which are over 6 cm in length and by the more dense nerveinswithout midrib. The nerveins are radically set out from the leaf-base andharrower anastomosed meshes. |
