论《桃花扇》是忠清之作——兼评徐振贵《孔尚任全集辑校注评》

《桃花扇》中的几个时间都是经过精心设定的，表明孔尚任既有对历史的沉思，又有对现实的关怀。清初官方断明亡于崇祯朝，是亡于闯贼、亡于权奸、亡于门户，承认明朝及崇祯的正统地位，并祭祀明陵、礼葬崇祯、褒奖殉难诸臣，不承认弘光朝，而《桃花扇》的观点与官方一致，所以剧中祭崇祯及殉难诸臣并不意味着反清。“入道”即避乱，是暂时的，最后的结局是老赞礼下山颂圣。因此，应认为《桃花扇》是一部忠清之作。

The early Qing Dynasty officials recognized the legitimate status of the Ming Dynasty and its emperor Chongzhen, but not the Hongguang Dynasty. The Peach Blossom Fan in these areas corresponded with the official views, so it was not anti-government. The final outcome is that the old priest went down the hill and eulogized emperor Kangxi. Therefore The Peach Blossom Fan is loyal to Qing Government.
