| Abstract: | This paper aimed to investigate the current situation of studying pattern design in higher education in China.By implementing the quantitative research methodology,325 questionnaires were returned and analyzed from 7 reputable fashion and textile institutions offering pattern design courses.Recommendations on teaching pattern design in higher education were made so as to improve the development of the China fashion industry. |
