Abstract:This paper is devoted to a discussion of the optimal deflection coefficient of the seat fitted on the calender rollers in the scutcher. By the method of SUMT the objective function, which will equalize the wear down of the gears each other, aims to minimize the sum of the absolute value of the difference ratio of velocity which is the relative sliding velocity at the dedendum among the four gears
