通过两部华语电影在西方社会的成败，从跨文化交际学的角度进行解读分析，作者指出，在后现代时期的文化融合时期，应该充分考虑跨文化的因素，并提出了有效交际的培养途径。

On Cross-cultural Collision in Post-modern Era in Light of Gain and Loss of Two Chinese Movies

Based on the discussion of losses and gains of two Chinese movies in the western world and some reading analyses from the angle of cross-cultural communications, this paper argues that consideration should be given to the cross-cultural factors in the postmodern era. Some approaches are also advanced to enhance effective communications.
